Trixter-ed

Just happy to re-own these in CD version. These are the only two releases by Trixter that I really enjoyed listening to. Beyond, Hear! I feel the band tried too hard to stay in the league. Steve Brown isn't exactly my go-to guitarist when it comes to inspiration but band's songs are really happy tunes to listen to on that long ride home feeling drained. These were the music of my time anyway.

wah Trixter ! The C-list band of the glam metal era. Never great and popular as Crue & Poison. Pretty decent tunes though. Steve is a pretty good guitarist for this style.

I've never relegated them to the lower listings 😁 I feel they came into the scene later & weren't as hair rock as preceding acts. The music was less melancholic as well.

Their self titled debut is “hair rock” no doubt... the Trixter boyz are late for the party coming at 1990 . Subsequent album less melancholic just like most other “hair rock” bands that adjusted their sound during the grunge era ...Poison become bluesy (Native Tongue) , Warrant become heavier (Dog Eat Dog) , Crue become a totally different band with Corabi & C-lister Trixter grow up with “Hear”.

Nice. For me I like the first album a lot. BTW I'm the one who bought the seymour duncan stack plus from you. Greetings!
