Billy the bug gave my new set of Tesla pickups a thumbs-up (but I couldn't see his thumbs, though...) before heading home. So my Kramer Striker S-424 now sports the following pickups:
- Neck: Plasma 7
- Mid: Plasma 1
- Bridge: Plasma 7

between plasma and VR series, which is more versatile but yet still aggressive?
the Plasma 1 is not a hot unit, more like a polite, aged single coil with lots of warmth but not too twangy. i like it for a simple reason- it sounds fantastic with extreme distortion, he he...
