IT (Invisabolt Technology) & it's an idea that works. Besides the sheer novelty, tone-wise, running the neck down the body this way- directly under the pickups- emulates a through-neck resonance. However the benefit is subjective, you either hear it or not. Nevertheless, having an all access heel at this part of the instrument is very inviting...
