Goodbye: Jet City Pico Valve

I've said goodbye to my Pico Valve (sold to Jo @ NoobAxe) not because it's a lousy amp, in fact, it's one of the best when no-frills tube tone is concerned. I need a small head with an FX loop feature which the Picovalve does not possess. That's about it. New amp in the works? Not in the mean time.

The CUB amps are great for a basic tube tone, don't expect too much in terms of drive.

sub, how about its clean? Is it pedal friendly..any suggestions for a good small tube amps e.g kustom tube12, bugera v5, blackstar ht1r etc..

i actually meant to imply the clean :-) the CUB has limited drive offerings, best used with pedals.

when it comes to small tube amps, 'good' is subjective. their offerings are limited by virtue of their smaller makes- less features to make it really stellar in terms of tone. i own the Blackheart Killer Ant, to me it's an awesome no frills amp for my pedals. the VHT Special series are also good for the money :-)
