Dime amp

Darrell Lance Abbott- we all knew him as Dimebag Darrell, one of the most talented guitarist in aggressive music. RIP...

Recently, his estate collaborated with Dean guitars to release the Dime series of amplifiers. The model you see above is a 120W head which promises Dimebag's crushing distortion as well as some excellent cleans. We are aware this is a posthumous release; would this be a fair representative of what Dimebag would have wanted? Would there be other products with the Dime tag? Is it disrespectful to have a dead man's name on products which would conjure the probability of disapproval by the individual himself should he be alive? We know how it is with the 'Hendrix' name, don't we?

Les Paul just died not long ago. Should Gibson stop making Les Pauls while we're on this topic?
Jack Daniels has been dead for a VERY long time. Maybe we should call it something else. DO that to Guinness while we're at it too (Sir Arthur Guinness died centuries ago. The brewery is ancient!!).

And while you're at it, "Christianity" was supposedly named about to "Christ" (Jesus's nick name), so let's change the name of a bogus religion the Roman's didn't even have record of.

Dude... Seriously???
Puting his name on something is puting "Shelby" on a Ford Mustang that doesn't suck. It's a way of honoring those we've lost. People have named companies and products (and places) after dead people to honor them for milliniums.
Do you get out much?

For the record, Les Paul, JD & Christ were legitimately associated with their involvements; they were well aware with what they had in hand, nobody took profit through mere associations- that's low. during his lifetime, Dimebag cranked (forgive the pun) his KRANK, this brand name is deserving of his name more than anything else.

em... if the Romans were to bear record of the Gospel, then it's not His bringing, yes? bogus?

Dude... Seriously???
You didn't get it the first time. it's glaring.

I've nothing against Dime's guitars which were rightfully commissioned. missed that? you got out too much, some lessons learnt are at home. tsk, tsk, tsk...
