Domestic music

I have nothing against this band pictured here, this pic is merely proof of my presence, that's all there is to it. Passed by the venue & stayed a while to listen to the music. It seems the local flavour is such that it aims to appease the general public... I get impatient with this nature of music peddling.

you know times are bad when the kids think avenged sevenfold is metal....

Paramore? not a fan... :-)

Loud not meant to be seen... he he... meant to be heard. it was loud alright but the average durian seller in the night market is rather loud as well.

kids come into the music scene with preconceived ideas of music genres. we often try to talk some sense into what defines music. they don't see this as education but old people arguing their way into juvenile lecture.

well A7X is considered metal (by the teen) maybe due to the sweep picking n sort in the solo n high gain in the distortion, they are a good band still....

i'm quarter century old and do agree with you that teens now a days is too 'true' to their choice of music that they would not listen to others...true music is dead when reality tv started and JoBros n click 5 is rock....

this is why all the legends die young...hendrix,bonham n burton would be damn pissed with today's music

i prefer kpop and jpop much over the other popular music. kpop and jpop have a lot of interesting elements in them that make them very appealing to me. sometimes i'm very impressed by some of the kpop and jpop composers for creating some super catchy tunes. i myself is a fusion player and i know what i'm saying.

true Japan music scene is very intresting...just see how they made friedman stuck with em

the scene in Japan is that there is general acceptibility, nobody is extremely inclined to a certain genre. unlike some other places, the metal guys for instance, would rather die than listen to pop stuff.
