Cort: X1

Many of us won't have Cort's X1 model in mind when we are out guitar shopping. The 'Cort' brand name itself isn't on everyone's familiar list, it's a fringe brand name. We are too preoccupied with the Epiphones/ Squiers/ etc. when it comes to entry level models. I've been playing the Cort X1 recently as it proves to be a 'neutral' model to accompany pedal try-outs. It's a very decent guitar for beginners, definitely. In terms of QC & playability, the X1 is worth the $293 list price but one needs to forgive the in-house pickups here as they sound a little brash but then again, so are the pickups of many upstart guitars in the budget price range.

check my blog, KX5's and KX1's are great guitars for their respective prices and have strong pickups, by MightyMite. Cort name, in my opinion, is guarantee for quality in low prices
