Re-string: G-LP

Gave my Grassroots G-LP-50S a re-string- Curt Mangan .0095 set, which I'm running out of. G77 does have the CM strings in store but not the .0095s... I simply love the feel of these strings, very similar to the Pyramids but with extra crunch. Sometimes, all it takes is a fresh set of strings to enjoy playing.

hey sub...how do u deal with fresh strings when they are super duper slippery? somehow i prefer strings broken in or even almost dead but not rusted. they aren't slippery =/

Hi guys...
Do u guys think playing guitar with high string action would somehow helps u getting better in playing?

reuel: strangely, i like my strings like that, crunchy & sleek. 'broken in' strings hinder slides IMO. in your case, try leaving the guitar out in the stand overnight.

action settings are supposed to complement the player playing profile, it's not about a preferred action doing a specific good exclusively. if you are starting out, it's important to have the action which helps you play well & not struggling.

ah... i do have the Santana GHS here as well as the PRS .0095 set. once my Curt Mangan supply runs out, it's back to the D'Addario .0095 for me :-)

Hmmm sleeky strings makes me overslide hahaha!! But I leave my axes on the wall all the time unless I'm bringing it out...still takes abt a session or two to break it in -.-
