Locked

This is neat stuff. A locking contraption to ensure your gear stays put. Equipment get stolen all the time, especially when you think it's safe to leave them for a while at trusted venues, during performance break. Your guitar/ bass can now be safely attached to a utility pipe for instance, while you are away. But beware the fiends who come with wire cutters... The Rock Lock device you see above is not available here. Yet.

IMO thieves will be thieves. despite whatever implement we have securing our equipment, there're means to stealing them...

This could go both ways. If you run into a lazy thief, then you win. But if you get a persistent one, then you can say good bye to your amp as well :).

bottom line is to pay attention to your gear at all times and not leave it lying around aye?

The wire is thin, easily cut, not much use, really. Best way is always to keep your gears in sight, by you, or someone we can trust. ~1mb~

Locks are for honest people. Thieves will be thieves, but honest men can becom thieves if the temptation is too big.

some colleagues here suggested installing:

*alarm
*shock inducing contraptions

water, and cutter will still overcome them... install "inconvenience", and "responsibility" to the owner, to carry and look after his own gear, sure 100% safe. =) ~1mb~
