He was deemed a guitar prodigy for showing acute proficiency at age 11.

He was once an Ibanez poster boy & had backing from a certain Steve Vai. How times have changed. I used to read lots about him in guitar magazines. I saw him as a brat because during one of his interviews, he was glorified for dropping his Ibanez JEM, headstock first, to the ground & feeling good about it. Whatever.
