Some years ago, this guitar was available here for a good price. Back then, I was indeed looking for a Japanese Fender to indulge in the standard of production which was revered by the industry. I gave this one a miss solely for its looks; the 'calamity' look just didn't sit well with me but we all know how the antigua, together with the silverburst, are indeed the industry's celebrated tragedy very much valued today. Aw, damn!
