this cab is now on promo: $32

it's worth every cent if we treat it as it is; a supplementary mini cab for days when we get bored or want to be heard but not through headphones. we shouldn't expect too much from something more novelty than being a firm amp unit. if get bothered by its performance because it can't be what an amp should be, then it's not for us :-)

em... i have some other parties pose with the amp, which would be put up later, he he...

the cab complements the amPlug very well. compared to my MS-2, it manifests less rattling at higher volume levels. like i said before, if you wish this amp to perform on par with a regular, non-battery powered units, then we are not being practical.

Hey, so the cab is 32 bucks from City Music is it? Do you know if there are any other places selling it?

hi sub. mind doing a mini comparison between the x-mini max speakers and this 3" cab?

subversion.sg said...

no idea if there are other shops selling this... be reminded the price is a promo, on other days, it's about $20 more...

the X-mini speakers, regardless of the version, do not respond to guitar signals like guitar drivers, they sound more clinical, some people deem this undesirable- very cold & inorganic. i like it for its clarity.
