Dave Zero

Here's Dave Mustaine's new Dean guitar, aptly called the Zero. It seems the Explorer outline is a timeless design appeal. It's one of those radical but acceptable look we love to own.

seems very awkward for mustaine to use a non-V guitar

no more mustaine's trademark thigh-clamping action with this zero

Gibson = Explorer, not Gibson = not Explorer...

the Vs are still available, they are not phased out.

yes, he still uses his VMNT... i love the 'angel of deth' graphic, it seem quite cheap for a signature series compare to his former jackson/ESP counterparts

some verisons are Korean made, that accounts for the price diff.

Some forums said,he is trying to emulate James Hetfield with this explorer(shape)...well the argument will go on and on..

that's convenient association. was he associated to Michael Schenker when he was toting the V?

Not with Michael Schenker..but the infamous bitter story between him and James & Company will be debatable for eternity...

if i am ever into mustaine, then it has to be his music more than the personal embitterment between himself & whichever bloke he chooses to bout with. that's personal, it won't do me any good for my playing :-)
