The above JEM model was 1988's rather infamous floral pattern. If there was any mention of some flowers on an Ibanez guitar, this was the reference.
This year, Ibanez revived the floral pattern for the JEM but the flowers are all new with an urban-type colour code. There's a preservation in the vine fretboard inlay less the colour combo, which I believe is more practical; it aids orientation & not mere decoration.

Yup...nice and more to a colour theme..i like!Btw Sub whats ur comment on Vai playing..do you admire him?
Vai's definitely up there with the other guitar greats. i really respect his music & ideas but in general, i admire anyone with great control over his instrument :-)
So what you dislike about him?For me,sometime he is to weird to follow...dont understand his ideas...!!
