amPlug + cab in the house! (Part 3)

Here's how the amPlug cab looks like out of the box. The hole on top is where you insert your amPlug 'head'.

The rear is where the battery is. As you can see, there are some blocks here ensuring the cover does not come into contact with the driver. I feel this also acts as a buffer to prevent excessive rattling if you play this stack loud.

Here's how the stack is, once it's put together.

Hi subversion,

I have a Vox Pathfinder 15R amplifier. The amp doesn't come with much effects.so i was thinking of getting the Boss ME-25 guitar effects. Any idea if its a good buy?

hi bro :-)

the best Multi-FX unit for you is the one you like hearing. as far as BOSS goes, the GT series have some of the best drive tone as opposed to the ME units. the tube equipped ZOOM & VOX units are also good investments. you need to hear them in action.

hey bro,

thanks so much! now i'm considering the Vox Tonelab ST. haha.vox seems to be very reliable with regards to nice-sounding tone.

if you like smooth overdrive, the VOX has it. i little raunchy & clinical sounding- go for LINE6.

heyy i'm interested in an amplug, but not too sure about the cabinet... is it a good buy??
already have a nux mighty15, but prolly want something just for practicing scales and all that (so it won't be too noisy, parents complain ahha).

save your $$$ bro :-) the NUX 15 is good enough for running scales & stuff.
