I didn't give the (PRS) SC58 a good look when it was released recently, having thought it's another catalogue singlecut for the manufacturer but the guitar in question features a tune-o-matic type bridge. The implication here is, prospective buyers need not worry about intonation issues. Some of us are hesitant to part with good money because PRS' singlecuts feature a pre-intonated, ridged hard tail. Despite the manufacturer's assurance, many of us have misgivings when it comes to such contraptions, especially so for players who prefer a set of thicker gauged strings. It's less headache for us now.
