It sports a rear belt clip, runs on both adapter & 9V battery. Like many other desk top amps (regardless of the amp), the BA-5 is more novelty than a real tone generator. The BA-5 lists for $25 at SV Guitars.

it sounds about the same. the thing with small amps- they all sound too similar, so the brand name doesn't matter, actually :-) if you need a more convincing overdrive tone, VOX's amPlug does it.
where did i get this? em... i did mention SV Guitars in there...

ok... i can't seem to remember the purchase date... looking for receipt now, la la la... if you are interested in this amp, it's located above the Gallistrings. from afar, it looks like a Mars... nevermind :-)
