No pickups?

If you've been to Beez's lately, you would've seen this guitar. Beez calls it his 'secret weapon'. Yes, don't rub your eyes- no pickups...

Actually, the pickups are there, tucked away under the pickguard. This is how they look like. How is this possible, you ask? It's definitely possible because pickups detect & 'pick up' signal/waves even if there is something in between the signal source & the receiver. Just remember that majority of Gibson's humbuckers are covered units & EMG is perhaps the most celebrated pickups which are unseen.

If you think you can play better or manifest a more promising playing potential without the pickups' physical presence under the the strings (because they snag your picks all the time), this is the best way to go. Look for Beez for this mod, he's more than willing to listen.
