Tone Drive: TDST-100

Well, well... here's something cheap & cheerful: TONEDRIVE TDST-100. Yes, it's a budget entry-level unit, do not size it up against something in a higher tier offering. I managed to try it at SV's Woodlands branch when it was fresh in the store so the lack of initial set-up really showed the true worth of the instrument.
  • Great overall feel, the weight especially (basswood body). It gives off a fairly healthy dose of sustain.
  • Good fittings, especially the frets; no sharp edges. Tuners are responsive.
  • Pickups- these are ceramic-based single coils so expect a good dose of twang. I like how they react to drive/distortion; lots of single note definition
Price: $169
Availability: SV Guitars

Good Sunday morning! :-)
