Little train

Here's another distraction from Vox; the Lil' Night Train. I was already focused on getting the AC4TV mini but this one's just too attractive to ignore. The unique feature here would be its utilization of a 12AU7 in its power section which should give it a unique voicing, running on 2W of power. Yes, the 2-band EQ is a real put off for me but it merits some listening when it gets here.

i find a 3-band EQ most beneficial.

if only the night train@little train have 2 channel n switchable

then it won't be a 'train' model any more... :-)

yeah but stil...need...to...switch....was thinking of buying the night train but since its not switchable now i'm lean towards the VOX VT30....what say you?

the night train & VT series are quite worlds apart in terms of tone- tube vs tubeless tones.

the VT30 also features a 10" speaker, any considerations for a 12"?

eh i thought VT are tube???if the night train switchable like the mesa boogie transatlantic....do you think the VT series worth buying?was thinking to find a 50-75W amp?right now i'm considering the Cube80,VT,Spider 4,ibanez tone blaster....any other suggestion??

i have a simple requirement for amps- as long as it's what i wanna hear :-)

you should take time to try them out- make sure they serve your tonal needs...

sorry- the VT series are hybrid units, featuring a tube pre-amp section. however, this is different from a full tube unit.
