it's time for pandora, amplug, pocket pod and other battery powered stuff to shine~
that, is, still, wasting energy... from batteries... you'll be emitting heat, draining the batteries' energy.
just sleep during this hour, do nothing.
tat is a bit too harsh of you.. >.< Using a 9V battery in ur mini amp to play guitar during tat period is not gonna kill the Earth man.. =P

amp with FX: any budget restrictions?
to me LINE6 (amps) was never about FX highlight, their primary offering is amp emulation. everything else is supplementary.
u might want to consider vox valvetronix+ series
i want to buy it for a friend , so she could dabble with effects and probably have a better effect on her songwriting process. Gonna buy the pocket pod instead. hmm she uses a crappy amp , haha maybe i will get a better amp end of the year for her.
