Rush's Alex Lifeson finally has a Gibson LP to his name & it features a Floyd Rose locking whammy bridge. The instrument per se looks very attractive but I'm more attracted to the rear of the instrument for its tailored neck-body joint. As the guitar was created in the image of the Les Paul Axecess, it looks like this: CLICK
I'd somehow wish that Gibson make this feature standard in some production LPs for dweebs like me who could benefit from less bulk at the heel.

sadly, some of them are accessible to a selected few only... *sigh*
