Ibanez: GARTB20

My latest GIO is a bass (taking a guitar break); the GARTB20 & sports a shorter scale length (30.3"). I would have preferred a red finish but this one was fresh out of the box when I walked in store. After trying, the playability & tone was above average for the money & I'd thought it was an Indonesian craftsmanship but it's from the current pool of Chinese GIOs. It seems that the Chinese hands are more meticulous when it comes to finishing as the GIOs I've played recently are free from smudges & lift-off marks. I won't pass any shorter-scaled bass opportunities as they are more suitable for me.

...and is it well balanced? i mean it didn't neck-dive right?

I have a black one and it plays great and it is very well balanced. I bought it for resale but since I have had it set up with new strings I've been holding on to it so far. Great Les Paul bass style copy that are not easy to find now.

Kinda missing this one... I have a soft spot for short-scale basses.
