Ibanez 2018: AZ Series

After more than a half year's worth of prototyping & road testing in the hands of the pros (Martin Miller, Lee Wraithe, among others), Ibanez unveiled its latest offering for 2018- the AZ Series. Seen here is the Prestige version (AZ2402)...

... and its Premium sibling (AZ242). I reserve further comments till more details surfaces at NAMM 2018 but those exclusive Seymour Duncan Hyperion pickups are good. 👍

Very Suhr-ry oriented?

I read that a lot, sir. I wonder if Suhr first got things going, did people say, "Very Fender-y"? :-D No offence but, I'm not drifting along that line. The way I see it, this being a Suhr copy- it's far fetched, not even close. A good attempt to do so? Not by a long shot either, Some resemblance? Maybe from a certain angle. Let's not insult the Suhr brand any further :-)

My apology sir.

Eh bro- no apologies necessary. It's an open perspective, some of us see some things, some of us don't. 😁
