ESP: Snakebyte

Still on the new ESP range (2011): The Snakebyte model is the new signature offering for Metallica's James Hetfield but there wasn't quite an attempt to make it visually appealing, yes? The headstock design...

...could give the Warwick Buzzard bass some pecking competition.

Wow, nice design. ESP is more successful in pushing out good designs. What was that Gibson failure bird again? hahaha. ~1mb

Seriously, i dig this snakebyte design. Looks awkward, but yet refreshing. Not sure if this is the first time that "snake" theme is used for guitars. But kindof tired of birds, eagles, etc.

The thing about the Firebird X is, it was over-equipped... And the design kills everything...

ESP ftw! Year of ESP for you sir?

Finally a re-design of the classic Hetfield 80s white xplorer. Explorer 2.0!

This should be made a standard model, not just a signature model. Look at it a bit more if you are unpleased or even shocked. It's like a really modern design car. First you say outch... Than it become part of your cool reality... Finaly something refreshing! I would buy one metal blue with chrome hardware. Loose the EMG pickups though.
