30 for you?

We heard of more strings in Ibanez guitars, this time, it's more frets. This is a limited edition Prestige RG2011SC (meaning: very slim hope of having any offered here); a 30-fret monster. It's also one of those rare RG not sporting a basswood body; it's alder. Wish it was NOT black & sport a non-whammy bridge.

EDIT
The senior players among us might remember the 30-fret novelty isn't new, Ibanez did it before with the AFD45 albeit the partial upper frets.

PS: Can't really sleep last night, so a very good morning to all of you...

the Asian offerings are, once again, limited. i'm not interested in ibanez in the mean time (despite having one coming very soon). i'm asking one of the local dealers here to quote me prices for 2 models offered to the US market. if enticing/ reasonable, i'll get them :-)

otherwise, it's ESP & Fender (japan) for me this 2011...

i've seen those bro, he he... i find them rather predictable. i'm getting none from those offerings, despite still being hardcore when it comes to ibanez :-)

ibanez likes to come up with gimmicky, impractical and boring guitars

they are like that this time round but it's business first & foremost for them, like every other company for that matter :-)
