the DP185 is a special production model in conjunction with Vigier Guitars. it has more output than the rest of the Track models :-)
Bro, I have an Ibanez S series with Air Norton as its bridge pup. Yet I'm not satisfied with what I'm hearing.. I want it to be more aggressive and "heavier sound"...

from my experience, matching a pickup to the guitar per se is not quite a winning formula. i need to know your other set up components, namely the distortion source & amp.
I understand it's hard to match the right pup with the guitar.. but I'm willing to do some trial and error... That's what makes it fun right? heheee...
I use guitar straight to amp, Line 6 Spider 4 30W.. usually I use red metal setting with full drive and bass...
In most cases, it's not the pickup but the amp at fault for not manifesting gd distortion. In your case you can consider the super distortion or deactivator. The former complements whichever distortion device is at the helm of your tone while the latter gives your more intensity.
How about pickups from Seymour Duncan? How are they compared to super distortion or deactivator?
since your current humbucker is a DiMarzio so my 'default' recommendation would be from the DiMarzio selections he he...
i have Duncans in my S540/ SV5470. duncans give me that top end sting i favour in terms of clarity. i hear a very processed output when i put a DiMarzio equipped pickup through pedals but the Duncans somehow maintains resonant transparency in this application, hence my preference for them. good Duncans for distortion applications would be the Distortion & Custom.
i'd also urge you to consider TESLA's VR Extreme (in my S1620) & Nitro as well :-)
