GIO ATK

The ATK bass is offered as a GIO model this year (above: GATK20), let's hope it'll be available here. I wonder if there's any pickup cavity under the pickguard; it's unnecessary, really. Even if the bassist employs a pick for his playing, he'll be dominant over the pickup area, not that patch near the neck.

expect a typical GIO price tag ie. $400-$500... (should be lesser than this).

The pickguard i believe is purely cosmetics, which some of us can do without :)

The ATK series of bass guitars have only a single pickup. I don't think there should be any cavity at the neck. Of course, this is only an assumption on my part.

the ATK Prestige has a single coil in addition to the humbucker, it wouldn't be surprising if the manufacturer uses a B-grade body, with the 2-pickup routing, for the non-Prestige line.

ditto the discontinued ATK400; 2 pickups. there might be some use for left-over bodies :-)
