What if there was an Ibanez design which bordered on the unorthodox but still remained attractive? The 540PII was such a guitar, one Alex Skolnik had a close association with it some time ago. I wish Ibanez would bring such designs back not to relive the nostalgia, mind you. But I think the time is right to have such a resurrection. Ibanez has the X-series to offer us the less conforming designs in their catalogue, the Xiphos is one among others, so why not the 540PII?
It's even offered in a H-S option. Darn...
