Headstock- forgotten?

We know this Ibanez guitar; it's the Iceman model. One of the coolest design (no pun intended) in the history of electric guitar.

Paul Gilbert's Fireman model is based on the inversion of the Iceman, yes? But hey, why is the headstock not inverted? Hmm...

current iceman model comes with standard reverse RG headstock

they should have a matching headstock for paul's. It would look so hotter! >:D ( get it? fireman, hotter? lame..)

maybe that's the reason why i'm not attracted to the current ICT700- that reverse headstock. ibanez should have kept it to the traditional Iceman headstock.

My money's on that it either costs less to not re-jig a new headstock, or that it might have less stress on the nut and string vs rearranging the location of all the tuning machines.

ah... the cost cutting considerations make definite sense.
