All covered up

I always ensure all my CDs are protected by plastic envelopes to prevent:
  • case scratches
  • mold from quickly settling on the CD surfaces
You can purchase the plastic envelopes @ Roxy Records, 100pc for $3.00

Hey sub, the pickup selector switch on my ibanez guitar has bent to one side (the thin metal piece)... Is there anyway to rectify the issue either than replacing the entire component. Thanks!

Btw if its a 5 way selector switch

bro, you dropped your guitar, eh? :-) if you are daring enough, you can straighten it up using pliers...

Never drop the guitar lah bro... Was transporting it in a padded gig bag and then when i took it out when i arrived home, i found it bent o_O Strange, isn't it?

Btw i tried to bend the switch back into place with a plier but the switch felt like it was about to break... Haizzzzz... Bro can u tell me how to bend the switch safely?

Thx alot!

in this case, don't antagonize the guitar further :-) if you think you can't live with the current situation, just send it for a new switch job.

Hehe sub, can live with the situation lah...

Its just, you know that "not shiok" feeling you get when there is a flaw or damage in your guitar... I'm experiencing it right now... Doesn't make me feel like picking up the guitar because whenever i pick it up, i keep focusing on the switch... =_=

Sub, so what say you, should i replace the switch or leave it as it is?

Tyvm bro!!!

it seems that your are better off with a new switch :-) but make it count, get something which is a one-up offering from the current product.

Hey sub, what switches would you recommend? My guitar belongs to the ibanez s series.

Btw thanks Sub for all your help! Really appreciate it! =)

bro, all my S-series in the mean time are using Ernie Ball 5-way selector; i find this to be the smoothest & most durable. one of my S-series sport a 3-way :-)

Hey sub, where can i find the ernie ball switch here in sg? Btw saw the switch on the internet and it looks rather short, would that pose any potential problems?

Ty!

short? of course not, it fits- that's more important. i got mine @ Davis :-)

Hey Sub, is there any way to remove the tiny cap at the tip of the metal piece of the selector switch component... I might be able to bend it back into place if it is possible... Hopefully can save some cash here.

Thanks alot bro!!! =D

bro, that one is easily removed, if you can't, use a pair of pliers for a better grip. i don't think you'll be affected by that one being damaged, yes? it's replaceable, you're more concerned with straightening that lever, yes? :-)
