I look up to bands like Throne of Katarsis to deliver good ol' black metal. These are the people who cast aside whatever instrument technicalities & production refinements there are to be committed to record & just deliver the essence. But Ved Graven proves to be in the mood for only the initial 3 tracks, the rest of the numbers saw the musicians engage in some dirge-like atmospherics. For the cult fans, this one.

bands with inverted crosses in their names turn out to be very nice people in real life- the Mayhem/ Marduk experience was unforgettable
